Welcome to my site!
I am an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Linköping University and a Researcher at the Institute for Futures Studies in Stockholm. My primary research interests are in ethics and political philosophy.
In ethics, my work primarily explores issues related to consequentialism, but also covers a variety of other topics. These include the "ought implies can" principle, the relationship between reasons and duties and the agent's perspective, axiology, the "Why be moral?" question, collective responsibility, and moral error theory. In political philosophy, I focus on normative democratic theory, with a particular interest in the boundary problem—the question of who should have the right to participate in democratic decision-making processes. I also explore topics such as liberty, socialism, and the social contract tradition. |
